product|added Jan 01, 2008 LEED by Tobias Grau
The LEED table lamp owes its charm to its elegant appearance and easy flexibility. A lamp head with such a flat shape yet high antiglare properties is only possible thanks to the extreme miniaturisation of light sources in the form of LEDs. The LEDs sit in parabolic indentations so the lamp head can be tilted towards the user without causing increased glare. Light source: 10 x 1.2 W LED; approx. 350 lm; colour similar to warm white Designer: Tobias Grau Made in Germany

product|added Jan 01, 2008 Bone urn by Designschneider
The bones of deceased persons are revered in many religions. For example, in Spanish churches you often find the bones or bone fragments of saints. Such churches are often a destination for pilgrims, who derive strength and hope from being in the presence of the holy relics. Bone urns carry on this traditional idea. The urn is the china cast of a femoral head. The deceased person’s ashes are entered via an opening in the bone urn. This is subsequently closed with a small stopper and immersed in a sealing varnish. Before the varnish dries the deceased person’s name can be inscribed in it. A bone is a familiar symbol denoting the end of life. As such, the bone urn is a logical choice for storing ashes. Designer: Designschneider / Cologne Made in Germany
