product|added Feb 01, 2008 Circumflex by Zoe Mowat Design
Circumflex is my own interpretation of the "accent chair." Similar to a circumflex used in punctuation, the chair represents a lively change in tone. Circumflex makes a statement with its dynamic yet refined form, unique proportions and unusual combination of materials. This prototype is the first member of a series of chairs, bar stools and benches with similar playful proportions. Circumflex can be produced in a multitude of lively colors and wood finishes which can easily adapt to any space or context. Designer: Zoe Mowat Made in Canada

product|added Feb 01, 2008 Calvino Chandelier by Propellor Design
The Furrow series of pendant lights was born out of our experiments in the wood-shop with one of our favorite eco-friendly materials, laminated bamboo. We have used bamboo to build tables and other furniture pieces but we wanted to push the material further and create a lighting design which would accentuate the warm tones of the bamboo. By using a router to shape intersecting grooves in the material we have created a pattern of perforations that allow light to escape the shade, bringing it's surfaces to life with a warm ambient glow. The material is finished with several coats of 100% pure walnut oil and lit with an energy efficient compact fluorescent bulb which produces a beautiful warm light when it reacts with the honey tones of the bamboo. product|added Feb 01, 2008 Birdtreehut by Maandag Meubels
A real birds paradise, this birdtreehut made by Maandag meubels. A comfortable home for breading, a feeding place and branches for greasebals. Not only fun for birds, also enjoyable for people. Who doesn’t like birds in garden, balcony or terrace? This birdtreehut attracts them all year round! The house will be used in spring. When you put a bowl with water on the shelves, birds will bathe in summertime. During fall and winter birds will eat from the feeding place and greasebals you can hang on the branches. The birdtreehut is made of corten steel and can be left outside whole year round. The birdhouse is already assembled; the tree is easily put together without the use of tools. Let the birds come!
