An unexpected paring of materials: while DRUZBHA 4 table legs are made of plywood finished with wax, the tabletop features the solid presence of fiber-concrete. The severity of the mixing and matching of volumes provides a point of encounter between two conflicting motifs: that of the soft sweetness of the legs, inspired by the rounded forms of Ottoman architecture, and the brittle harshness of the tabletop, a metaphor for the coercive brutality of the regime architecture.

The Station Pendant Lamp is available in single or triple configurations, ordered to length, and can be hardwired or plugged in. Energy efficient bulbs light the way and the raised areas are based on u-bahn station locations. They don't make a very good map, but they look and feel great.
