Morph Chandelier
Morph Chandelier demonstrates the inspirational transformational elements, and reinterprets the traditional method of making chandeliers in an unconventional and unusual way. The innovation of using the traditional element of crochet in the design is combined with the use of the new fibre optic technology to form structure and provide the light source.
The overall impression in dark surroundings stimulates emotion and the imagination.

This chair is the result of a form analysis of a traditional chair. With this project Paolo Pedretti graduated at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy. After his graduation a part of this research has been continued with the Dutch design label Vij5, resulting in the design of Chair #29.
