Our relationship to animals is contradictory. We love and domesticate animals. On the other hand, we eat them. We dissassociate the living creature from the meat. The animal is abstracted and becomes a functional material. From Fable To Table is a series of hybrid objects that confront us with a choice between two natural instincts, nurturing or killing an animal in order to eat it. The duck is the protagonist of this story as it is both easy to domesticate and extrememly tasty.

people are out of proportion when it comes to their consumption. in this project, my body becomes a measure for consumption. every piece of this set represents a part of my body in volume (litres). if you would fill every piece with food, you would eat a whole body.
