Incompleted Cube

Incompleted project.
< part, entirety, incomplete >
Design is completed by the mutual communication. A part becomes the entirety.
This is a completion in certain meaning but is incomplete for new creation.
Incompleted Cube. Incompleted Cube is composed of Base unit / Connecting hardware / Main unit. For users, by piling these up selectively, there will be various furnitures that have different functions and uses each other.

Many different methods and materials for the chairs, those are just another formation that is formed by smaller. this is why into such shape. So,I tried to show this golden rule by visualizing simple individual bubbles gather into a shape of chair.

Iceberg

Fascinated by the irregular sharp edges of ice, we wanted to create a mirror that could translate this amazing look, We avoided symmetry and repetition of shapes, as they seem in nature. Even though it's composed of pyramidal forms, no two triangles are alike, which creates a fascinating game of reflections. This complexity made the production process more demanding, but ultimately resulted in a far more interesting and unique object.

Designer: Dixit Design Lab (Portugal)
Inspired By: Ice, Randomness, polygonal shapes
Material: hand cut and hand beveled mirror, lacquered wooden back
