USMA clock
In Portugal, the urban population keeps growing year after year, in accordance to the world tendency for desertification of the rural space. In the urban space, the pace is increasingly fast because time is money and every second counts.
USMA is a clock without a visual interface, resorting only to sound to mark the passage of time. The sound of the church bell is the clock hand, which intends to bring home the rural experience with the definite goal of giving a new rhythm to city life.

Lollilla Chair
Lolilla chair takes inspiration from the beautiful and bold flamenco dresses of southern Spain. To make the chair, the designers fashioned ruffles and swirls using red and white fabric and hand mounted each piece one by one by with 120 bi-color balls atop white chair legs.

TOCA ME design conference 2012
On February 11th, 2012 TOCA ME design conference will take place in Munich‘s Reithalle for its fifth time with renown speakers from all over the world. The goal of the event under the claim "Inspired by Design“ is a critical evaluation of design as well as the connection of the Munich design and creative scene with the international design centers. Amongst the speakers of TOCA ME design conference are Golan Levin, artist, composer, performer and developer, as well as Evan Roth, co-founder of Graffiti Research Lab and FAT Lab (Free Art & Technology Lab). Furthermore, Anita Fontaine & Geoffrey Lillemon of Champagne Valentine, Vera-Maria Glahn and Marcus Wendt of the multidisciplinary design studio FIELD in London and Mate Steinforth of SEHSUCHT Berlin give insights into the processes and techniques of their creations.

World Architects Masters 2012 - A very special event for the international architecture scene. Worldwide. The "WAM open" combines networking, information, and fun. Since 2004, the GAM open (German Architects Masters) and
WAM open (World Architects Masters) have established themselves in the
architecture scene, as platforms for national and international master
collections for athletic and socially oriented architect and interior
designers. These winter sports events are enjoying growth and rising
popularity. More than 2,000 participants from 13 nations were already
able to share their enthusiasm for the event.
Now, the second "WAM open" will take place in 2012. This
