Can Manent School Facade Sunscreen

The architects Fran Fernández, Fina Fontado and Saida Dalmau designed this great sunscreen of chain of aluminum with an air of circus tent, giving the touch of color to the school building.

The 80-meter wide and varying heights screen (between 5 and 6 meters) fits perfectly the shape of the building, blurs the sunlight entering the interior of the school as an awning, but allows the vision and ventilation through it.

PREZIOSA - Format of paper packaging

Format of paper packaging made during a Social Design project for people with learning disabilities. The paper packaging were obtained through the molds that gave them the form. In this case the process takes place in the traditional way as was used in contact with people with disabilities, but you can also get it with industrial molds. The wet paper, once inserted on the molds, pressed and dried: in this way becomes rigid and sturdy.

The Wrap

If you are from Europe and have a recent iPhone, you will probably recognize the charger shown here. You may also have noticed that you can almost wind your USB cable around it - but not quite, frequently resulting in pocket spaghetti.

I realized that one end of the charger is already perfectly fit for the job, and all you really need is the same shape on the other side as well. The Wrap provides just that, clipping securely onto the USB plug.
