Slagsmålsklubben is an animated school assignment from Tomas Nilsson/Sweden, sponsored by destiny to reinterpret the fairytale of Little Red Ridning Hood. Inspired by Röyksopps "remind me".

Take a look at this really amazing animation project by Spanish filmmakers ZUMBAKAMERA. This episode is the first of three. So enjoy the cool story, high quality handcraft and joyful performance.

A two-minute animated voyage through nature's life cycle, following the trials and tribulations of a humble apple seed. The film was kindly funded by Adobe, made using their CS4 range of software. It was produced at Nexus Productions and features a soundtrack by Jape. It was made using a mixture of stop motion papercraft and 2D drawn animation.

It was a great pleasure to meet Ross Lovegrove for an interview during Cologne Design Week. He presented his new bathroom collection at VitrA Bad Showroom Cologne and spent some time with Ioanna Paraskeva from DSTV, talking about his life and business. Enjoy 22 minutes of conversation.

We also met the imm 09 trend board member Giulio Ridolfo at our DESIGNSPOTTER stand. He already worked for Moroso and many more famous italian labels and talked about his favourite theme: colors and textures.

Prof. Dr. Uta Brandes, professor for Gender and Design at Köln International School of Design KISD visited our stand at imm cologne 09 for an interview about her special subject.

DSTV met the trend board members Eero Koivisto and Arik Levy for an interview during the imm cologne. They seemed to be very relaxed while answering some (more or less) private questions about their plans, wishes and professional opinions.

The street artist Invader came from France to L.A. recently and took a minute to explain his new Binary Code street art. This new media utilizes hi-tech Binary Code technology combined with his trademark lo-tech ceramic tile work as seen in urban centers all around the world.

This work by Gera Frascaroli represents the intertwining life cycle of a $10 bill and a male. The bill returns to the male at different stages of his life to show how he reacts to money. Although the character realises that there is more to life than money towards the end, the character is actually in an endless and inescapable cycle.
