Golden Opportunity by Sebastian Bergne



 

The golden opportunity, was designed and manufactured by Sebastian Bergne in 2011. Sebastian Bergne is an independent industrial designer based in London.

He generally designs consumer products, lighting and furniture, but is best known for creating objects for the preparation and consumption of food and drink. Bergne has worked with a wide variety of clients including Authentics, DeBeers LV, Driade, ENO, Epson, Lexon, Moulinex, Muji, P&G, Sassoon, Swarovski,Tefal, Vitra and WMF.

His work has been widely published, exhibited and included in permanent collections including that of The Museum of Modern Art (New York) and the Design Museum (London).

He has also been honored with numerous international design awards such as Red Dot, Design Plus and iF Product Design Award.

The new project is a celebration of the ordinary and everyday, expressed as a unique version of the timeless household nail. But as often, the simple things in life are the backing of something bigger.

Created by Sebastian Bergne for Christmas 2011 the golden opportunity is 23crt Gold plated stainless steel in an edition of just 100.
