Did you all  have a good new year? We hope so! For the next two weeks will be a marathon of events.

Cologne design week is almost here and ready to be celebrated.  Because of the overwhelming offers of events we have put together a DS event calendar with the best hotspots and partys to go to.

Of course we hope to welcome you to our DS Headquarter in the SIXPACK, which offers an array of  entertainment every night. We also welcome you to our fair exhibition  in hall 3.1.

In 2009, same as the last two years we will present  to you 50 great design ideas that are a must see.  Get ready for sleep deprivation, endles communication and nonalkaholic traps everywhere.

Our Tip: Sleep ahead, dont speak and drink plenty of water.

We can’t say it enough.... So we won’t.

By now everyone should know that the week after next Cologne will be buzzing with people and design.  One last time we will refer to the design professionals fair hall 3.1 and our stand P009/P011/P012. It’s worth it.

To our delight we were allowed to have a peak at the  HOW TO magazine presented by DS. If you are curious come by and pick one up for free.

At the same you can also witness some exciting interviews. DSTV is going to set up a web video studio and report daily about the fair. We have taken this opportunity and will have some interesting peole live in front of the camera.  For more detailed information check out the event calendar we have put together.

Civilisation of Love Nr. 4 : HEAVEN AND EARTH

For everyone who wants more love, a better civilisation and everything else between heaven and earth.  E’DE COLONGE  will take placefor the forth time in the St. Aposteln church.  A musical trip awaits you there!

On three of the evenings the cologne event label presents a spectrum of national ambient music. From dub ambient (Klaus Fiehe + kreill.minima) and space ambient (Geo + Thamos Fehlman) to instrumental ambient with HAUSCHKA with pianists and sound artists from Duesseldorf. Cellist Insa Schirmer and Donja Djember will also perform. Projected videos and slide that mix and popculture and the turning to God round off the event and give the big church hall the perfect atmosphere.

Seid ihr alle gut ins neue Jahr gerutscht? Prima, denn aus der Schlitterpartie wird in knapp zwei Woche ein SuperD-Riesenslamon, der es in sich hat.

Sieben Tage cologne design week warten aufgeregt darauf, von euch befeiert zu werden. Und damit ihr wisst, wo die heißesten Spots sind und wichtigsten Partys stattfinden, haben wir euch einen DS-Eventkalender zusammengestellt.

Natürlich freuen wir uns, euch allabendlich im DS Headquarter im Sixpack begrüßen zu dürfen. Und auch auf unserem Messestand in Halle 3.1.

Denn wie in den vergangenen beiden Jahren, präsentieren wir euch auch in 2009 ausgewählte und großartige Designideen, die man gesehen haben muss.

Wir können es gar nicht oft genug wiederholen...Tun wir an dieser Stelle auch nicht. Denn mittlerweile dürfte jeder, wirklich jeder wissen, dass übernächste Woche die Hölle los sein wird in Köln.

Der aufmerksame Beobachter kommt nicht umhin, allerorten auf die [d3] design professionals Messehalle 3.1 und den Stand P009/P011/P012 erinnert zu werden. Zu recht (siehe unten).

Wir hatten übrigens das große Vergnügen, einen Blick ins von DS gefeature-te HOW TO Magazin zu werfen. Neugierige können - richtig - eine Gratisausgabe des Magazins bei uns persönlich abholen.

Gratis gibt es außerdem spannende Interviews.

DSTV wird ein Webvideo-Studio einrichten und täglich von der Messe berichten. Unsere Ausstellung nehmen wir zum Anlass, um eine Handvoll sehr interessanter Persönlichkeiten live & direct vor die Kamera zu holen.

Deshalb möchten wir an dieser Stelle auf die Veranstaltung unseres Partners E´de Cologne hinweisen.

E’de Cologne präsentiert zur cologne design week das Ambientfestival

"Zivilisation der Liebe Nr.4: HIMMEL - ERDE"

Für mehr Liebe, eine bessere Zivilisation und was man sonst noch so braucht zwischen Himmel und Erde! E´ DE COLOGNE startet zum vierten Mal mit dem Ambientfestival in St. Aposteln eine musikalische Reise in sphärische Welten.

An drei Abenden präsentiert das Kölner Eventlabel die gesamte Bandbreite der aktuellen, nationalen Ambientmusik: von Dub-Ambient (Klaus Fiehe + krill.minima) über Space-Ambient (Geo + Thomas Fehlmann) bis hin zu Instrumental-Ambient mit dem Düsseldorfer Pianisten und Soundkünstler HAUSCHKA sowie den Cellistinnen Insa Schirmer und Donja Djember. Ergänzt wird die kontemplative Atmosphäre des spätromanischen Kirchenraumes durch großflächige Dia- und Video-Projektionen, die die Hinwendung zum Göttlichen mit der popkulturellen Gegenwart verbinden.

Am Donnerstag/Freitag (22./23.1.) feiern wir in unserem Headquarter die

offizielle After-Show-Party der "Zivilisation der Liebe".
