"The Deer Hat Hangers are part of a body of work derived from the artist’s drawings of an imagined world, inhabited by little deer and other creatures. It is one of many functional objects based upon this wondrous vision for form and design.

Their smooth exterior is painted in brilliant colors and the inside of each ear is then flocked in a complimentary color. The Deer are composed of fiberglass reinforced gypsum cement and each ear is additionally reinforced with a steel bolt. The new antler edition is made of porcelain."
