It is called the ‘Tessellation Plate’: The design uses a subdividing algorithm that is cut from plate steel. It provides a serving platform suitable for hot surfaces that is separated from a table-top. The dark steel is left raw and clear-coated; the interior faces of the cuts are rust-oxidized.
