Lighting

Stealing light by Bente Lund-Larsen

Bente’s designs tend to focus on the life of the object, exploring the impact of objects on people, often in social settings. Stealing light explores the boundaries of a chandelier’s presence. The main light has been infested with parasites. They feed on the host’s energy, using it to roam the table below, interfering with the goings-on at the table. Stealing light runs on low-voltage, and consists of wireframe shades dressed in pleated black silk.
