Strata Acoustic Panels by Gill Hewitt

Contemporary architectural interiors often contain planes and surfaces that are hard and reflective, being prone to uncomfortable flutter echo. Gill Hewitt produce bespoke textile panels that have been subject to extensive development and testing to ensure that sound waves are able to penetrate and be absorbed by a high performance sound absorbing substrate providing both aesthetic and acoustic benefit to interiors. Source fabrics are digitally printed or hand dyed and felting techniques are used to construct unique textiles. The substrate is made almost entirely of glass, over 70% of which is recycled household glass and glass wool.
