Furniture Garcia chair by Martin Mostböck
The concept of the "Garcia" chair (MAK - Museum of applied Arts Edition, Vienna) tranfers information in a visible and strong form - a logo - that looks like a “tattoo” on human skin. The “tattoo” shows part of the MAK-logo, directly painted on the “wooden” skin of the seat shell. Garcia is a stacking chair for event, seminar and conference. The Garcia-family presents itself as a rounded ensemble - four leg version and free swinging type, tandem, bar stool. The base is made of precision steel tubing, armrests are sheated with synthetic material or leather (model 1328), beech seat shell. Execution: base chromed or powder coated. Extra charge for special colours. Seat shell stained according to Braun´s colour chart and lacquered. Upholstery: seat and back rest separated/PP or seat and back rest in one piece/VP upholstered with contract fabric from the collection or with customer´s fabric or with leather. Additional outfit: row linking, college board, seat and row numbering optional. Exchangeable floor glides, articulated glides on request or felt glides. Garcia (stainless steel): base of stainless steel tubing, otherwise same execution as above. Designer/Architect: © Martin Mostböck Made in Austria
