New Book Release : Warum dieser Stuhl?

„Why this chair?“ was the question that started and fuelled the panel discussions „freitagsforum“ at designtransfer in Berlin where designers of various disciplines – media and graphic designers, publishers, architects, filmmakers, fashion and product designers –talked about the chair they had selected and about their attitude to design. The book gives a lively account of the conversations which are gently edited and accompanied with numerous images and informative marginalia.

The podium discussions took place in 2005 and 2006 between Martin Schmitz and Heinz Emigholz, Ruedi Baur and Günter Zamp Kelp, Ed Annink and Burkhard Schmitz, Kora Kimpel and Bernard Stein, François Burkhardt and Wiel Arets, Achim Heine and Martí Guixé, Adolf Krischanitz and Hansjerg Maier -Aichen, Paul Mijksenaar and Valeska Schmidt -Thomsen, Axel Kufus and Dirk Schönberger. They were hosted by Egon Chemaitis, Annette Geiger and Christin Kempf.
