In the slot in the upper quarter of the bottle cap, housekeys, for example, can be inserted and then used as an extra lever to improve the consumer’s grip on the lid. The result is that the bottle can be opened with much less force.

The product Gemeinsam sind wir stark (Together we are strong) is, itself, able to be converted into an ideal bottle-opening aid. Each bottle cap of this type has an indentation on its top surface as well as an enlargement on its side, which allows two bottles caps to be joined with each other. In order to open the desired drink a second bottle is placed on top of the bottle which is due to be opened and is then rotated as a lever. For this packaging form the bottle shape chosen is such that even unopened bottles will have a relatively low weight. The cross section of the bottle is also minimised, so that gripping the bottle is possible for all consumers.
