This individual stool represents an innovative concept that integrates the function of the Fin Ray Effect.
The Fin Ray Effect copies the principles from the biomechanics of a fish fin. The seat is constructed by nine fin ray elements. They are bent around a pipe and joined with the frame of the stool. A distri-bution of pressure in this innovative order is possible. The form of the flexible elements are following the body contour of the user.
