Today things often don't have an age anymore. They are replaced before they can change their form and surface. The wearout of products as a natural process seems to vanish more and more from daily life. From the perspective of design the question about the wearing out of products is a question about the thinking of products as a temporal process. This study analyses the potential and the functions of the breaking and wearing out of products and visualizes the outcomes in form of three products.
