Architecture 0 Actuated Stage Shell
Francis Marion University's 68,000-sf. Performing Arts Center designed by Holzman Moss Architecture marks the latest step in performance hall innovation. It will feature a push-button operated, built-in, stage shell that enables one person to transform the stage from housing a symphonic performance to hosting a theatrical production in minutes -- a process that usually takes a large crew many hours to perform. Made from OSB, this new stage shell is both economically and environmentally sound.
