Hoog en Droog
Jephte Francissen made storage crates featuring a hoist system, enabling the crates to be raised towards the ceiling and pulled back down again. When the crates are raised upwards, a spring unwinds and the rope rolls itself up, while when they are pulled down the spring is used under tension. When you release the crate, it stays hanging where it is on its own. Hoog en Droog is an attic for clutter for people with clutter but no attic.

I saw this in Eindhoven. It is fantastic
