Furniture 0 Haute Bamboo
Haute Bamboo picks up where Slow White series left off: it continues the quest to renew our connection with nature, guided intuitively by natural forms. While bamboo is a fast renewable resource, it’s often considered a poor man's timber. The curves of 'Bambusa Ventricosa' are caused by a rare mutation in the bamboo producing striking bulbous stalks which render each piece unique. Black linseed-oil paint references eastern lacquered furniture binding the origin of the material with its outcome. Designer: Bo Reudler in collaboration with Olav Bruin (Netherlands) |
