CORONA

Dutch designer Frans Schrofer, inspired by the magical, shining ring of light of an solar eclipse, created the CORONA for Austrian firm XAL. A ring of LED’s illuminate indirectly outwards from under a body of highly polished cast aluminium. The diameter is exactly 1001 mm based on old, mathematical and mystical principles, which fills any room with a special kind of magic.
