8to5 wrist watch prototype

The 8to5 wrist watch functions as both homage and critique to contemporary corporate work schedules. The watch case resembles a two shell structure. While the outer shell protects the inner shell and gives the watch its visual character, the sealed inner shell combines all essential parts of the watch such as movement, dial, hands, glass, etc. The dial itself (inspired by the daily work rhythm) consists of two layers, graphically highlighting working and non-working hours of a weekday.
