HALDANE MARTIN furniture showroom

Haldane Martin's new furniture showroom is punctuated with a dynamic, yellow, tensioned string installation that simultaneously draws the viewer into the space while defining and partially separating the various areas from one another. The concept for this yellow sun burst comes from the name of the building – Fairweather House. Yellow happens to be Design Capital Cape Town 2014’s colour. The installations inspiration is also an echo’s Haldane’s fascination with weaving and line.
