Architecture 0 Sealight Pavilion Docklands Melbourne
The Sealight Pavilion, in Melbourne Docklands, is intended the project to amplify the experience of natural phenomena of sea, sky and light, and establish a presence in the neighbourhood as one of the few places in which to experience these natural amenities. A tower dissolves as it climbs to frame the sky, while a a cantilever dematerialises as it reaches out to frame the sea. Orchestrated by Monash lecturer John Stanislav Sadar, the design was led by Rintala Eggertsson Architects. Designer: MonashU Dept of Arch/Rintala Eggertsson Architects (Australia) E-News
