Milo high

The Milo table project, uses as a primary element, the curved line. Even the straight lines of the table top are gently rounded, declaring the marked plasticity of its sinuous forms. It is a casual table for both outdoor and indoor use, ideal for contract but also private use. Its sinuous and delicate lines integrate it seamlessly into both the natural landscape and the man made environment: in collective settings, showrooms, shops, waiting areas, recreational areas, and residential spaces.

Vertigo Lounge by AquiliAlberg for Casa-Decor

The installation is a result of extensive research which analyzed movement perception. It brings to light a new dynamic quality which is customized in a very strong abstract and conceptual form which evolves in the space as a continuos rotations of surfaces. The design relies on a definite set of proportions where elegance and dynamism is generated through a process which provides a sensual image.

Designer: AquiliAlberg (Italy)
Inspired By: Inspired by Escher works.

Iconic Hybrid by AquiliAlberg for Neil Barrett

AquiliAlberg studio’s designs are open to different interpretations. A series of sliced surfaces generate a complex, yet controlled volume, obtained through three-dimensional digitalisation.
The configuration gives the sculpture character, and wraparound lines create multi-faceted volume. Individual perception of the space, which has a kaleidoscope feel, differs according to physical position.
This search for spatial complexity has its roots in Optical Art.

La citta' Fragile - La Triennale di Milano

The exhibition, through photographic documents, video, illustrations, maps and relevant statistical data, seeks to represent some aspects of the fragility of the present-day city. It highlights the relationship between the resenting community, which is closed in and looks for a scapegoat, and the caring community, which seeks to assume responsibility for social weaknesses, in a hard-working community, and acts in a privileged way in regard to production and work.

Sigmy table by AquiliAlberg for Fiam

Almost like a logo, its sign, which refers to the letter of the Greek alphabet sigma, connects graphics and design, embracing the lightness of the glass and resulting in an expressive graphic continuous line.
The cross between Euclidean geometry and its assumptions that govern the relationship between points, lines and planes, and the most current three-dimensional modeling, the project delivers a stream of lines that elevate the sign to real movement.

Designer: AquiliAlberg (Italy)
Manufacturer: Fiam (Italy)
Inspired By: Investigates the potential of contamination of disciplines, an expression of contemporary mark.
Material: curved glass
Colours: thick clear and black curved glass
Dimension: 60 x 60 x h 55

Swan collection by AquiliAlberg for Ritzenhoff

The evocative image explodes recalling the romantic themes that refer to the symbols of water, and the spell of being suspended between two opposite dimensions, nourishing the design of the entire collection. The strong emotional charge that characterizes the stage action in the most dramatic moments of the story, represented and characterized by the presence of nocturnal creatures winged and agile, expressed by the famous arm extension to form the sinuous shape of the swans necks; come to life.

Designer: AquiliAlberg (Italy)
Manufacturer: Ritzenhoff (Germany)
Inspired By: The idea was born after having witnessed a sublime production of Swan Lake at La Scala in Milan.

Swing-UP system by AquiliAlberg for Serralunga

The first collaboration with Serralunga for Aquilialberg begins with Swing-UP, an innovative and versatile flower pot, pouf and side-table.
The research study of Aquilialberg is expressed in the development of an innovative stackable pot, where a single module, because of its controlled geometry, could be stacked, thus evolving in space in a sinuous and calibrated plastic torsion expanding its dynamism in space, both vertically and horizontally.

Vertigo pouff by AquiliAlberg for Moroso

AquiliAlberg is presenting the new design for Italian brand MOROSO, at the Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan next month. Vertigo pouff was developed following AquiliAlberg’s Vertigo table success at the Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan last year.

VERTIGO pouff is a 4seats pouff, part of the Vertigo collection. VERTIGO pouff is a result of extensive research which analyzed movement perception. It brings to light a new dynamic quality which is customized in a very strong abstract and conceptual form which evolves in the space as a continuos rotations of surfaces.

Inspired by Escher works, it gives the illusion of a continuous flow of wrapping lines which generate a clear sign. Its expressive and natural movement is symmetrical but at the same time rich in spatial complexity.

VERTIGO provides a sensual image where the form is built up from a continuos exchange of full and emptyness, lightness and dynamism.
