De Blanco

De Blanco is part of the new „Trattoria Utopia“ Collection from POSTFOSSIL. It is a series of porcelain cones that gives us freedom of choice in their function: lying down, the cones give the impression of being a market bag or fruit bowl; when stood on end, like a top; when put in a glass, they look like a vase for flowers etc… utopia of a product, whose point of departure had no deliberate or particular function, other than its own impression, its shape as such.

PIC

This table is not only unusual in its form, but also in its combination of materials. The legs from naturally oiled aok act almost like a dancer carring the untreated andesite stoneplate in a Rhombus form.
The natural materials stone and wood do not need additional connections; on the underside of the stoneplate are drilled holes wich anchor the legs of te table. The wight of the stone gives the table the necessary stability.

Souffleur Ramón

The fireside companion set Souffleur Ramón comprises a bellows and a firewood basket, both of wood (wenge) and leather.
A bellows is not only a beautiful object with a homely character, but also a reflection of the energy needed to kindle a fire. Bellows have long been disappearing into obscurity, either because of modern heating technology or because today there are supposedly quicker methods of ignition (such as firelighters).

Material: wenge wood, leather and stainless steel

good night eileen

The concept of this lamp is based on the principle of the hand torch, which used to be used at home when it was dark in order to get from one room to another. “Good night Eileen” charges itself on the charging point and as soon as it is taken away from there continues to glow for a few minutes before the light slowly fades.
