How to be trendsetting in a conventional retail sector? Jewelry Kameleon has changed its colour and appeal by a new interior. Banners in different shades colour the floor and the walls. Bright white showcases attract the attention to the modern jewels in an appealing way. The shop is illuminated energy efficient. COEN! signs for the right interior and complete identity that sparkles and glows.

3FM

How is it possible to design a high class radio studio for Dutch demanding DJ’s? Radio 3FM broadcasts from a studio in which acoustic, technical and aesthetic requirements have been united in a robust, contemporary interior. The interior reflects the colourful music of 3FM. The graffiti prints on the acoustic walls form a link to the street music and target group of 3FM: serious radio!

You want to professionalise a learning company? TriamFloat is a research and consultancy agency specialized in lifelong learning, vocational education and training and human resource development. Their strong identity symbolizes growth and change by the use of different colourful shapes. Changing and growing. It works out: the investment in a design by COEN! pays itself back many times over.

How to put a product as exciting and seductive as lingerie in the market? The exclusive boutique with the provocative name ‘Secrets by Day' faces this challenge while leaving enough space for good personal advice: the customer comes first. This retail concept has been designed by the team of COEN! and implemented in every detail. Selling by seduction....

EU flag

The identity of Europe translated in a sphere of stars in all colours of the rainbow, representing the variety of countries, people, identities. All colours mingled form a neutral and bright white star in the middle. This star represents you: a European citizen with your own identity, radiant in a colourful and multicultural European environment.

Remco Claassen

The leading management trainer in the Netherlands, Remco Claassen, asked COEN! to create a visual statement. To create the logo, the 'registered trademark' symbol - the Remco Claassen A-brand - was combined with a copyright symbol. The message is clear: Remco is unique and cannot be copied. The R and C are of course also Remco's initials. The gold and purple colours symbolize leadership.

Eye hospital Eindhoven

The new Eindhoven hospital, focussed on eye care chooses COEN! for a fresh and visual identity. A card used by the oculist and two blue icons represents the state-of-the-art quality in modern eye care. A bright white base used for all designed items makes communication clear and professional.

FRISO party

riso Party is a monthly dance party for gays and friends in de Effenaar, located in Eindhoven. COEN! created a new approach and identity for this organization after a number of identity workshops. Love represented in two identical triangles touching each other. All triangles together merge into a polychrome kaleidoscope.

interior jeweler Kameleon

A chameleon has the unique ability to change its colour. Dutch jewelry store 'Kameleon' has changed its colour and appeal by a new interior. Banners in different shades colour the floor and the walls. A black ceiling supports these stripes. Bright white showcases attract the attention to the modern jewelry in an appealing way. The whole shop is illuminated energy efficient. COEN! signs for the right interior that sparkles and glows in changing colours.

interior Besturenraad | BKO

COEN! created a new working environment and identity layer for the ‘Besturenraad / BKO’. These two organizations are going to cooperate more intensively at a new location and take care of two denominational types of education in the Netherlands: Catholic and Protestant. The aim of this project was to visually connect the shared goals and principles of both organizations.

Digifish

Shanghai. City of contrasts.

City of light and manufacturing city. Digital and analogue.
Growing or suffocating? Developments go faster than light in a world of ancient traditions.  Art, velocity and innovation in harmony with nature, reflection and tradition. Shanghai inspired Coen van Ham during his visit in 2010.

He captured this inspiration in intriguing images and named them Digifish.

Testbleed

In 2006 COEN! redesigned the TV test picture to symbolize the National Broadcasting Channel.

Based on the same design, a series of 16 colourful giclees was produced, which when taken together form the complete test picture. Each giclee is available in a limited edition of 50 prints. Each print is signed, numbered and framed in aluminium behind glass. They are available via COEN!

interior Media Academy

The Media Academy is the leading training institute for the media and is located in a stately villa at the Media Park in Hilversum.

The interior was designed by COEN!. All the walls and window casings are white. A major addition is the colourful, digital pixel floor with plant-like patterns, which reminds the visitor of the building's present function as a media training institute.

National Broadcasting Chann

New interior design for the head office of the National Broadcasting Channel, located in three existing, dark buildings at the Media Park in Hilversum: this office space was re-created by COEN! to form a light, colourful and attractive working environment, with an ambience appropriate to a media concern.

The specific identity of the National Broadcasting Channel is evident throughout the head office.

The interior design is timeless with colourful accents.

Brabant Broadcasting Company

Omroep Brabant is a regional broadcasting company. It touches the peoples hearts in the Brabant region. COEN! Translated this feeling into the new interior of this organisation. A warm welcome in the entrance hall, a poem and floor pattern about the purple heath and subtle translation of the typical Brabant flag.

interior MBO Raad

The 'MBO Raad' is the Dutch Association of VET Colleges. The association represents all government-funded colleges for secondary vocational education and training and adult education in the Netherlands. The interior has been designed by COEN!.

For this project COEN! also designed sixteen colourful patterns for the organisation, representing the various professional fields. These patterns have been printed on wall coverings and furniture.

Faithless

Coen van Ham delved into the tension that exists between the material and the spiritual. Result is a new logo for the Catholic faith based on the cross. Do you believe in yourself, a material as well as a spiritual world?

Faithless consists of the four kinds of wood, used to fashion the cross of Jesus. The front side is fitted with 24 carat gilded brass. Numbers made: 33, the year Jesus died.

Brabant quarterly hour

Most important of all in the Dutch province of North-Brabant is the human dimension. For example the well known ´Brabants Kwartiertje´ (Brabant quarter-hour). That doesn't mean being late for an appointment, it means giving people the attention they deserve. In practice, this subtle watch or clock gives you a moment to focus on what is really important: time for each other.

FOLDR is a wall mounted magazine holder. It has four shelves to carry many of your beautiful magazines or brochures. The design is characterized by efficient use of material, timeless simplicity and a clear pattern.
