British LoveIn the "British Love" piece we went for the easy target, the 5'clock tea, not necessarily implying that the British only love their tea, but they sure stay true to their traditions. And so for this we also make reference to another of their beloved "institutional" elements, the Royalty, thus the presence of a crown in this piece, including even a blue stone in it's proper place.

IcebergFascinated by the irregular sharp edges of ice, we wanted to create a mirror that could translate this amazing look, We avoided symmetry and repetition of shapes, as they seem in nature. Even though it's composed of pyramidal forms, no two triangles are alike, which creates a fascinating game of reflections. This complexity made the production process more demanding, but ultimately resulted in a far more interesting and unique object.

Yes & NoWhen developing these pieces the designers tried to explore the legibility limits of type. The overall disposition of the individual blocks comes from the central shape of a "Y" and an “N”, then a rule was established relating colour shade to depth of segment. All of this contributes to the morphing aspect of the pieces as the viewer moves around them. In full frontal, one sees them in their most direct form and as the viewer shifts his perspective the pieces reveal their complexity.
