Flex ChairThe design for most slatted chairs calls for wood that sits on top of a metal frame. To address this disconnect, Flex Chair tenons each slat into a frame that sandwiches the wood between the aluminum. The result is an elegant profile that showcases the integration of materials. The repetition of ash end-grain against the black anodized aluminum provides a rhythm through the simple curves of Flex Chair. All elements are connected with screws, allowing the chair to break down and flat pack.
