MUSCLE

Muscle is a wardrobe you can fill much more than what it seems, thanks to its elastic wall, keeping safe your stuff from falling. When it's filled with robes, items, toys, pillows or whatever, it seems like a bulging muscle, hence the name. Giorgio Biscaro presented it during the Salone Satellite of Milan in 2009.

Maleehah and Abzari

A salt and pepper set with oil and vinegar dispensers (not repr. here). I tried to infuse in this product the strong message of an actual situation, to remind people the variety of our cultures even in relation to domestic contexts. The purpose, here, was not the exploration of new ways to DO something with design, but a new way to THINK something by it, exploiting design to represent social contents and meanings.

Chapeau!

Tilting magazine rack in ABS standard injection. Magazines are put inside like the petals of a flower, and the shape of the bottom helps moving the rack and selecting what you want. You can see easily what magazine are contained because they're not overlapped like usual, so you won't never more scramble searching an old magazine.

Protozoism

What about a non-linear bookshelf? Protozoism is a rotational moulded structure you can hang to a wall, whose internal cells have different sizes and can accommodate different types of object, not just books. The production system makes sure that the cells have a back surface, so that the movements of the books and objects won't deteriorate the wall beyond. It can be fixed to wall through a metallic structure. Available in a wide range of plain colours.

Kappu

Kappu is a family of suspension lamps made by two thermoformed sheets of polypropylene and polycarbonate (in the transparent version). The two sheets can clip together fixing the lamp assuring very low costs of production and maximum flexibility on finishes. Fluorescent or filament bulbs are allowed, dimmable or constant.
