SkyBed
"Skybed" was developed as a concept for the "Yanko RELAX Design Competition".
This canopy bed as my ultimate interpretation of relaxation furniture. Could even imagine laying on this bed during sunset on a deserted beach.
It's going along with my postmodern approach and represents just as well a disputatious contribution to today's overdesigned world.
It's harsh mixture of hightech vs. cosy & traditional materials exaggerates this reinterpreting, unorthodox approach of a domestic landscape.

Cozy Hard Edge Furniture
A range of living room furniture based on 1970s German domestic decor. The bizarre, angular forms are covered in patterns and detailing which were commonly found in German living rooms during the 1970’s. I consider the objects as living sculptures, which put the traditional views about comfort and taste into question.
The collection consists of a sofa, arm chair, sideboard, rug and pendant lamp and is finished in a retro-futuristic fashion.
