Horn HI-MACS® for iPodHorn is the new HI-MACS® hand-made art piece, designed by the Korean architect Shi-hyung Jeon in collaboration with the HI-MACS® team at LG Hausys. The design delivers a full spectrum of sounds while aesthetically it reinterprets the line of the traditional Korean clothes in a contemporary style. After several technical tests with different materials, HI-MACS® was demonstrated to be the optimum choice for the speaker cabinet. Horn is made especially for IPod devices.

Torre de Cristal interior design projectThe A-cero studio interior design project was implemented on the top floors of Madrid’s ‘Torre de Cristal’ (Crystal Tower) skyscrapers. The interiors of the 249 metre-high skyscrapers are designed by Joaquin Torres and his partner, Rafael Llamazares using HI-MACS® Natural Acrylic Stone in Alpine White and Black colours. This required the use of 152 sheets of HI-MACS® and a total surface area of 425.11 m2.

HI-MACS stand at Imm CologneHI-MACS® impressed once again their visitors with a superb stand at the recent Imm Cologne 2010. The installation “Office Reception” was a perfect combination between smooth thermoformed surfaces and a futuristic view of interior design. Designed by Spanish architecture studio A-Cero Joaquin Torres Architects and fabricated by Candido Hermida.
