wood bar

The wood bar is a conceptual object whose form is derived from the dimensions for good delivery bars specified by the LBMA standard organization for the form of gold bars. The iconic object is a statement communicating the value of nature and promoting the idea of sustainability. The wood bar is completely handmade using artisanal methods of woodworking in an ecological way as a cooperative project of the designers Kaspar Hamacher and Laszlo Rozsnoki.

14 % table

"14 % [table]" is a table with a slant tabletop - diagonally sloping at an angle of 14 percent from the highest corner to the obliquely opposite one - so everything that is put on it slides down. The original function of a table - to hold objects which are put on it - is transferred to a special anti-slip tablecloth. For liquids the slant of the table creates a strange picture. The table caricatures hierarchical structures by setting the persons taking a seat into a hierarchical relation.

share a chair by Laszlo Rozsnoki

"share-a-chair" is a second-hand chair that has been sawn into two parts which are supported by additional legs.
First antique chairs were provided with additional legs. Then each chair was sawn into two autonomous halves.
Side by side the two halves offer a seat for one person.
Divided from each other, the two halves provide two separate seats for two people.
The possibility to share a chair has a practical use, if more people come together than sitting accommodations are available.
