The Ripple lounge is a study in undulation. Cantilevered to support the weight of a seated body, the Ripple is built from vacuum pressed plywood & molded flat bar steel. The lounge is finished in a hard lacquer for optimum color and durability. The technology and the design create an idea of weightlessness. Inspired by the continental slope of the earth’s surface, the Slope table adds sensuality to function with a subtly expanded base and sculptural use of positive and negative space. The Spheroid chair is a microcosm of protection and illumination. Scattered with light from ellipses that descend across its curves, the chair provides its own constellation and is grounded on an axis that rotates a complete 360 degrees. Rotationally molded from polyethylene, the body of the spheroid is cast from completely recycled material and lined in Italian leather and various other fabrics.
