Paper Chair

The Paper Chair is the result of the research on how a sheet of paper can become strong when bended. With a thin metal frame a sheet of metal is laser cut, bended over the structure and welded in few hided points.

Layer Sofa

With a sofa-shell configuration, Layer Sofa is using the Color “nuance” of the fabrics to create a light graduation effect on color, from darker (the outline layer) to lighter at the interior side.
Build in treated massive pinewood, the structure is assembled with the expertise of traditional furniture handmakers assuring a strong shock resistance and a long live of use.
Each Layer of the sofa is upholstered with a certain foam density in order to create a highly comfortable seating.

R & B2 Chair

The R&B2 - Easy Chair, pays homage to Portuguese traditional material culture.
Inspired by the traditional Portuguese chair, the designer reinvents the measures and typology turning a dinning chair (the original) into an easy-chair.
Easily found in most of rural houses in Alentejo, this new chair, like the original, keeps the multi stick crossed structure that gives a strong resistance and a long live use.

Shell Chair

The Shell Chair is inspired both by formal and structural biological references.
The structure appears to be a shell natural development and it’s form evolves like a natural body composed by vertebra and spine, working as natural force and weight distribution. Ergonomically, the Shell is a “pillow container” where, according each user, can be adjusted or filled with less or more pillows. The chair is delivered with 4 natural cotton long pillows.
