THE MAIDEN'S EYEA contemplative gaze, still in time and space: the representation of an ideality in the modulated but certain form of stainless steel. The crystal receives the external world, interiorizing and condensing vital emotions in iridescent glares. Memory states the changeability of the real experience in an emblematic synthesis: every psychological variability and every communicative value of the eyes appear henceforth somehow comprised.

SIDEREUS HookSIDEREUS explores the geometry of a cuboctahedron, that is an Archimedean polyhedron with eight triangular faces and six square faces. The sculpture-like aesthetic with sharp edges and harsh light and shade effects of the polished aluminium solid is anchored to the wall by means of a satin stainless steel truncated cone.SIDEREUS is available with or without three embedded Swarovski items.

FIRST LIGHTA perfect sphere is modified by a circular stepped turnery: the light, that initially slipped tangent to the spherical surface, can now hit the matter and stop there, thus revealing its qualities.

METAFISICAThe perfection of the sphere condenses metaphorically all the matter in the universe: the sphere stretches itself out until it turns into a spindle, as it would be squeezed by the space, empty and immaterial but not neutral and indifferent. This luminous and energetic space eats away the solid stainless steel surface, inexorably, as evidence of the life’s flow.

IT'S RAINING, umbrella standIT’S RAINING is a stainless steel thread, springing out of the troncoconical head, shaped like a lightning bolt. Rain water flows along the rail up to the base, a stainless steel cylinder dug like a pool in the earth.

PROGRAMMAPROGRAMMA is a collection of coat stands, coat hooks and coat hangers developed from the basic shape of cylinder with the purpose to overcome the traditional hierarchies among domestic spaces. Geometry is not self-sufficient, like in the previous work CYLINDER by INSILVIS, but aims to assert itself in architectural spaces by means of geometric transformation such as symmetry, reflection rotation and the consequent connections between part and whole.
Designer: INSILVIS (Italy)
DIRECTIONSDIRECTIONS interprets the classical typology of coat hooks from a contemporary point of view. A square matrix defines the shape of the hook and of the cruciform wall support as well. The out-of-alignment of the axis of the wall support suggests various directional possibilities in fastening the item to wall.

APPLEA large diameter sphere (150 mm) expands the 2D projection of an apple into the third dimension. The two components in combination provide special spatial and visual qualities. The sphere recalls the rotational volume of a shape endowed with autonomous symbolic properties.

MARECHIAROThe aim of this coat hook is the transformation into visual language of vague suggestions, of a cliché on the popular and allegorical, but always fascinating italianity. MARECHIARO expresses a tribute to Italy and to a way of feeling simple, not culturally evolved but deep-seated in the popular mentality in spite of the pressure of the technological present time. At the same time, this work is an example of personalisation of coat hooks to be utilized in offices, shops, or private spaces.

BOLT SBOLT S is characterized by an embedded Swarovski, with distinguishing luminous qualities: a new relationship between matter and light is thus established. BOLT is literally a standard object, as a mechanical part.

SEAWATERSEAWATER coat hook appears to arise from the corolla of a flower.

GEARThis wall-mounted clothes hanger uses a pulley in the shape of a knob, suitably polished and treated, attached to the wall by means of a stainless steel cone.
