Following the successful cooperation with the Italian design studio Pininfarina and the French designer Ora-Ïto, Gorenje has now teamed up with Slovenian designer Nika Zupanc who designed this deliciously rebellious mini hot plate. Mrs. Dalloway is deconstructing the myth that household appliances are only made for kitchens and housewives. Like most works of Nika Zupanc, it is different, boldly innovative, and playfully witty.

Following a concept by the currently hottest designer of the young generation, Ora-Ïto (also the designer of Gorenje's most recent appliance collection) the company manufactured a special kitchen dubbed the 'futuristic kitchen'. The Gorenje Ora-Ïto futuristic kitchen has the shape of a rounded cube, or block, and it is manufactured as a monolith that can be lifted and transported to the desired location. It is made of an advanced composite material that is often referred to by designers and architects as 'the material of the future'. Material is resistant to all weather conditions, thereby enabling the kitchen to be displayed outdoors.

Integrated into the kitchen are the appliances of the new Gorenje Ora-Ïto collection, distinctive for the uniform design of their front panels made of black glass and aluminum handles, either in natural aluminum color or in black. The LCD monitor connected to a CD/DVD player and a computer enables displaying recipes, watching a film, or connecting to the internet, thus perfecting your cooking experience. All storage areas are ergonomically shaped and rounded.
To date, only a prototype specimen of the futuristic kitchen has been manufactured; Gorenje is also planning to offer it as a unique niche product, manufactured according to the requirements and desires of each individual customer.
