Folding Rietveldchair

The famous design ‘Rood-Blauwe’, also called the ‘Rietveldchair’, was designed around 1918-1923 by architect and designer Gerrit Rietveld. This designicon is like most designicons; beautiful, but not comfortable or easy to use. By adding a practical condition (i want to take my designicon with me on holiday) to the Rietveld chair, this foldable version was born. So you can easily carry it and chill in your designicon on the beach.

Inspired By: Rietveld
Material: plywood, beech
