SpareOne Cell phone

SpareOne phone is a basic call phone powered by a single AA battery, with a shelf life of 15 years. With the client's brief, we knew immediately that it has to be “life-proof”. Sennheiser CXC700 Travel Line

The Sennheiser CXC700 earphones was a good challenge on acoustics, aesthetics and comfort fit. With the criteria of usage on an airplane, our main approach was to optimize the exterior to be non-intrusive. We studied various sleeping positions vs. the ear anatomy to develop the eventual form factor. The ear-canal phones are also equipped the NoiseGard system that offer three noise-cancelling profiles.

Old New TV Icon

Here at nextofkin creatives, a couple of us started our design career working as CRT TV designers. Our aspiration was to have a screen front as visually flat as possible whilst enjoying the volume on the rear cover that we can sculpt and style endlessly. We thought it would be fun to revive our favourite TV icon by applying a LCD module onto the expressive silhouette of a CRT!

Ecowater CES water purifier

Designed for EcoWater LLC for China market, NextOfKin Creatives took an approach to deconstruct and reduce the system to its core components & form, Trilogy. It consists of the left water filtration column, the middle & right hot water tank & a re-engineered compact pump system to dispense water. The three cylinders were angled forward to enhance the pouring pitcher idea with a sense of elevation and play.

Luxe fins

Revisiting one of our favourite internal projects, the “Hydra Gaming Mouse” – we decided to give it a new coat (of tuxedo) to offer a more luxe appeal to gamers!! 24K gold plated removable weight band with improved fins for cooling the nervous palms. www.nextofkincreatives.com
