Bichu-da (To Shine)

the concept of calendar of the East is different from that of the West.
While Eastern culture follows the lunar calendar, Western culture is based
on the solar calendar. The light on the back of the clock shines into the wall,
visualizing the image of the moon. With this impact of indirect lighting, it creates an image of the total eclipse of the sun when seen from the front. In a small cylindrical shape, both Eastern and Western images coexist as lighting, and at the same time, as a clock.

dam-da by sukjin moon

this lamp was designed based on oriental culture where people
contain light in a small bowl such as a small kerosene lamp. The support
attached on a wall and the long arc-like cord with a lamp at the end serve
as an objet for an interior of a room. With the concept of "containing light",
the lamp makes it possible to create various lights only by using different
bowls or dishes, which is beyond traditional shades.
