SAVE THE INK a special edition

SAVE THE INKis a series of 22 yellow card holders made from waste covered with a penrose pattern printed with left over ink.

It came to life because the artist wanted to save the ink from the not yet fully empty ink cartridge (there was still 22 pages yellow left) from leaking into our soil at a landfill. She therefore locked it up in a practical product: A card holder.

Bricolo Box

Using Bricolo Box improves the understanding of tinkering as an activity.
Usually, in the context of children‘s activities, tinkering is regarded as a very meaningful activity. In the adult world, however, the notion of tinkering (especially the German term ”Basteln”) comes with negative connotations.
But it is precisely for adults who usually plan ahead and are often oriented towards results and quality that tinkering presents a challenge - and thus not a child‘s play!
