Prop ConsoleThe Prop Console originated from Cairo, where sleek new buildings emerged from a rather chaotic construction sites. Showing that even in this chaos, where an ingenious detailed scaffolding created from steel props welded at angles which could be easily removed when not needed could result in a solid structure. It was these props that inspired the design, hence the form of the Prop Console.

ZigZag BookshelfComing from a desire to try to express some of the rich details found in many aspects of Cairo, that in a way are both contemporary and yet referential. Rather than simply applying a pattern on a surface, the detail was incorporated as a zigzag uprights structure giving birth to the name ZigZag Bookshelf and supplying both the visual identity and structural integrity.
