Dirt resistant, heavy-duty, environmentally friendly but, oh, so soft and comfortable. We didn’t have to ask kymo creative director Eva Langhans twice: She simply had to make a carpet out of it. Add a subtle, yet robust anti-grip felt backing to the surface; refine the whole thing with a subtle seam; and what do you get? A completely new carpet...

More a mat in the form and size of a carpet, the design by Eva Langhans incorporates an elastic foam core enclosed by a surface covering made by the renowned Danish textiles firm kvadrat. As a highly durable and fashionable mat FABRIC [SQUARED] is perfect for all sorts of activities: yoga or pilates workout sessions, simply relaxing, or as a comfortable reading surface for rainy afternoons with a warming mug of tea.

SG Planet Rock

We got the intension to use polyester once in a different way.
The SG PLANET ROCKs pile is indeed made of 100% polyester, which is used by kymo last but not least because of its high durability, but now gains a brand new texture, by a particular manufacture: crimping.

The characteristics are shown by its beamless appearance, which displays its own flair of minimalist and simplicity.

We love to hang out in relaxed atmospheres. So it is exactly this lounge vibe that the SG AIRY Premium tries to capture: to create a feel of laid-back cosiness along with an over-whelming complexity of various colour tones that add an enormous degree of dynamic flow to this rug.
As if that was not enough its voluminous appearance gives SG AIRY Premium this special lounge feeling... it is like SG AIRY Premium has always belonged to lounges like olives have in Martini.

Due to a specific washing the leather gains a metallic gloss giving the naturalistic appeal of the material a whole new twist so that it surfs the style wave ahead.

MNML 101 by kymo

Floorwear for minimalists

It’s all about elegant minimalism! Because less is usually more – as is the case with this extremely flat, tabular rug, hand-braided using polyester webbing.

Normally used in high-Alpine climbing equipment, the polyester webbing guarantees the MNML 101 an extremely high degree of resilience – which doesn’t make it just incredibly smart but suitable for outdoors too.

In 2009 the MNML 101 won the “iF product design award".
