PinchThis piece is a back-to-back two seater. The structure is very strong due to the tight compound curves which also enhances the beauty the piece. Each piece is built completely by hand by Matthias Pliessnig.

AmadaI have recently completed a large bench sculpture that measures 23' in length. The bench is entirely built with steam bent White Oak and was commissioned for a private residence. The title of the piece is 'Amada', meaning 'beloved one'. Please give photo credit to: Gene Young, Smithsonian American Art Museum. Do not hesitate to contact for further information about the project.

ProvidenceProvidence is a culmination of my previous works. Combining dynamic compound curves and flowing two seating positions into one form. Providence is lightweight for its size and very strong. All of the wood used is sustainable harvested White Oak from Wisconsin.
