Merus Winery 10th Anniversary Bottle Packaging

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Merus Wines, UXUS were engaged to create a unique bottle that both marked the occasion and reflected the history and quality of the California cult wine brand.

Expressing undiluted sophistication, the black of the glass bottle features an oversize etching of the Merus logo, a symbol of permanence that echoes the philosophy of the winery. The collectable bottle further features gold leaf etched font and a dipped wax cap to be broken ceremoniously.

UXUS Office

The theme for the new UXUS office’s décor is inspired by the rich visual world of Fables. Both the fairytale location of its Art-Nouveau/Neo-Gothic office tower at the crossing of two major canals in central Amsterdam, and the design agency’s penchant for the mysterious and poetic atmosphere of old and new world Fables, influenced the look and feel of a space where imagination is free to roam.

Merus is under going a transition from a premium artisanal cult wine, to a true luxury product of the highest level. UXUS was commissioned to create an experience where customers are enveloped in the excellence and complexity of the Merus brand. The objective is to create a Winery that embodies all the Merus brand values of undiluted quality: quality, sophistication and complexity.

Amsterdam Loft

UXUS have designed a private residence located in a historic building on one of Amsterdam’s famous canals. The home is located in a 18th century warehouse with a panoramic view over the city. In keeping the original open-plan layout UXUS created a series of dramatic curtain walls that could be opened and closed according to the needs of use. At night, the space becomes a series of glowing tents, creating the effect of a surreal interior landscape.

Interactions

UXUS’ second installation to launch H&M Home ‘Interaction’ focuses on the dominance of digital systems in our world. A large wooden display unit presents a series of pulleys and levers that are attached to various products. An action causes a reaction, pull and push, discovering through the physical exploration of an analog search engine.

UXUS and H&M Home Launch

In collaboration with the H&M design team, UXUS has created a display of mirrors and suspended furniture to create a ‘gallery’ of fashion products for the home. Located in the H&M headquarters in Stockholm, the installation “Home Reflections” imagines the world through a looking glass, to explore our ever-changing relationship between identity and style.
