Valencia Disseny Week 2010

What gorgeous opportunity to get another rays of sunlight before wintertime - and what a wonderful event: VALENCIA Disseny Week! Always worth to travel, but this year completed by something very special: FEED - the First International Design Media and Bloggers Meeting. And DESIGNSPOTTER was part of some very special, absolutely and professional organized couple of days. What a trip - we miss you guys already. All the best and congrats to MARIA an JUANICO :-)

Valencias Design Association ADCV celebrated this year its 25th anniversary, and for the very first time Valencia Design Week VDW initiated FEED - the very First International Design Media and Bloggers Meeting: From Sept 30 until Oct 2 we joined this get together of international colleagues taking place during VALENCIA Disseny Week in the summerly, beautiful spanish province Valencia (capital of the city of Valencia, Alicante and Castelló).

Our first impression after we arrived at this beautiful hotel downtown was: Wow! The organizers really tried hard to do their very best by organizing each day unexpected and communicative.

Together with Actitudes Mag, Architonic, Core 77, Cuarto Derecha, Designboom , Diario Design, Diseño Sensato, Graffica, Inhabitat, Mocoloco, NotCot, Pasajes Diseño, Thedesignvlog, Treehugger, Yankodesign and the one and only Yatzer :-) we spent some time together exploring Valencia Design Week on the fair ground (Feria Hábitat Valencia) and downtown in various locations throughout the city.

After four days fully packed with haunting conversations and discourses about the future of design, some great stagings and a perfect framework program we are convinced that Valencia will rise up in the international design circus.

In our eyes it has a lot of potential to grow and become another cool hotspot (embedded into a breathtaking backdrop).

So, let´s meet again in Valencia in 2011.
